2017 RESULTS

ENGLISH, MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE INTERNATIONAL RESULTS ABOVE WORLD AVERAGES!

Mountain Cambridge School’s Grade 6 and LSL/Grade 8 subject averages in English, Mathematics and Science were above the world subject averages, five years in a row, an amazing achievement!

We wish to congratulate the learners and their teachers on their excellent external Cambridge International Results. In November 2017, these students wrote an external internationally recognised examination; these papers are set up and marked at the University of Cambridge. This is a true international bench-marking.

They received a total of 82 subject distinctions of 48 learners that wrote these papers; during the November 2017 CIE External exams in these two grades, an average of 1,7 distinctions per learner. The Grade 6 learners delivered 39 subject distinctions and the LSL/grade 8 learners delivering 43 subject distinctions.

We are certainly proud of the academic stars, but it is important that we reflect on each learner’s achievement. They all embraced the classroom and its demands and, together with their teachers, they nurtured and extended their individual abilities. Well done!
