We, the Mountain Cambridge High School prides ourselves on offering the Cambridge syllabuses, our Christian ethos as well as our shared values of hard work, enthusiasm, discipline, respect, honesty and trust. We strive to instill a love and passion for learning so our learners are “Paratus”- our school motto, meaning prepared. We are a small school by choice where our passionate teachers can interact with and give individualised attention to every learner they teach.

We believe in and promote family values so that each learner feels part of our school community and are not just here to attend lessons. We strive to be the High School of choice in the North West province and are fully committed to achieving academic excellence.

Our teachers promote fun and creativity while instilling deeper thinking techniques in their lessons as we understand that a “one size fits all” approach to teaching simply does not work. We aim to equip our learners with the ability to think for themselves; to take what they have learnt and apply it to new situations by employing problem solving techniques. We do this with the aim that when they graduate our school, they leave a well-rounded and learned individual. The Mountain Cambridge School learners are all known by name and as teachers we all strive to see our learners achieve their level best, all the while making the lessons along the way fun and memorable.

Though primarily an academic school, we subscribe to a healthy body, healthy mind approach and actively promote the need for sport and cultural activities. We are a small school with a big heart and hold our own both on the sports field and in the cultural halls, with many proud accomplishments under our belt.
