We are proud to share that two of The Mountain Cambridge School’s esteemed leaders, Mrs Anrieke Olivier, Head of Primary School, and Mr Marc Bailey, Head of Academics, were recently honoured with the opportunity to present at a prestigious International Education Conference hosted by Thinking Schools South Africa. The event took place in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, drawing educational experts and thought leaders from across the country and abroad.

Their workshop, which focused on transforming the way Mathematics is taught, offered a refreshing and interactive approach that moved beyond traditional methods. Through practical strategies and engaging activities, they demonstrated how teachers can inspire learners to explore Mathematics with reasoning, creativity, and critical thinking at the forefront.

This exciting platform allowed Mrs Olivier and Mr Bailey not only to share their innovative practices but also to engage in meaningful collaboration with fellow educators who are equally passionate about reimagining education. Their participation positioned Mountain Cambridge School as a trailblazer in the field of modern, thinking-centred education.

We are immensely proud of their contributions and the role they continue to play in shaping the future of education, locally and globally. Their presence at the conference is a testament to MCS’s unwavering commitment to empowering educators and nurturing young minds through progressive, dynamic learning.
